9 ozdark chocolate (70-85% cacao solids)
1 cupbutter
1 1/2 cupssugar
6 eggs
1/2 tspvanilla extract
1 1/4 cupsall-purpose flour
1/2 tspsalt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 356 degrees F.
  2. Grease a 9"x13" baking pan.
  3. Now we need to melt the butter and chocolate. You can melt in a microwave, but I recommend to melt over the stove. How to melt the butter and chocolate over the stove: heat 9 oz chopped chocolate, 1 cup butter, and several inches of water in a small pot over low heat until completely melted and has a smooth consistency. Don't forget to stir regularly.
  4. Whip up the eggs and sugar in a separate bowl.
  5. Pour melted chocolate and butter.
  6. Add the flour, salt, vanilla sugar, or vanilla extract, and mix very well.
  7. Pour into the baking pan, distribute and bake in the preheated oven about 30 min.
  8. Pull out of the oven and cool for 1 hour.
